Our most popular services

Vaccinations and wellness plans

Regular vaccinations protect your pet from preventable diseases, such as distemper and feline leukemia. Wellness plans provide ongoing health monitoring, helping catch potential issues early and ensuring your pet stays healthy throughout their life.

Neutering

Neutering helps prevent unwanted litters and contributes to reducing pet overpopulation. It also offers long-term health benefits by reducing the risk of certain cancers, for females it will reduce risk of life threatening infections, and for males it may help behavioural issues, such as aggression or roaming.

Nurse clinics

Our team of veterinary nurses are able to offer certain services, including weight management, nail clips, anal gland expression and many more...

Quality dental care

Dental health is crucial for your pet’s overall well-being. Routine cleanings and check-ups prevent gum disease, tooth loss, and even infections that can spread to other organs, ensuring your pet stays pain-free and healthy. Our pets rarely tell us they have a sore tooth, so we offer dental X-rays as standard to discover hidden disease or silent causes of pain.  We can also offer advanced dentistry at our practice with a visiting veterinary dentist.

Urgent care

Pets can have emergencies that need immediate attention, such as injuries, allergic reactions, or sudden illness. When needed during our clinic opening hours, we can prioritise quick, professional medical intervention when your pet needs it most. If you require help outside of our normal clinic hours, phone our practice and our phone message will direct you to where you can go. If your pet is hospitalised overnight by our out-of-hours care provider, we are more than happy to accomodate and accept transfers of your pet back to our practice in the morning.

Hospice or palliative care

This tailored service supports pets and owners through difficult times. For pets with terminal illnesses or chronic conditions, we offer compassionate palliative care, focusing on comfort and quality of life. We will help you understand your pet's condition and needs and ask you what you do and don't want for your pet. â€‹Under the guidance of an oncologist, we can offer some chemotherapy services. Chemotherapy is often administered in various forms, including oral pills and injections. While it can be intensive treatment, it is often well tolerated by pets, allowing them to maintain a good quality of life during therapy.

Advanced diagnostic & surgical procedures

At Ollie & Florrie Vets, we have invested in state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment. This improves the sensitivity and accuracy of making a diagnosis. Whether it be for on-site blood testing, cardiac and abdominal ultrasound, digital X-rays, soft tissue or orthopaedic surgery, we offer cutting-edge care.

Travel documents

We will be able to offer this service from December. â€‹Please check the official travel requirements for your pet before booking an appointment.

Visiting specialities

For complex cases, we collaborate with veterinary specialists who can visit and perform these at our practice. This ensures that your pet receives expert-level care without the need for a referral and travel to another facility.
